At Adorable Chocolat, across the street

Every morning, our guests take breakfast across the street at Adorable Chocolat, our chocolaterie and café at 395 Main Street. It’s served from 7:30am and included in your stay. In summer, take a table on the terrace, under the trees.

While you’re there: Adorable’s chocolates are made in-house from organic, responsibly sourced cacao by our Maître Chocolatier, Lucas Michel. The boxes travel well, which is useful, because people back home will ask. On summer evenings, the café becomes a 5-à-7 bar.

Lunch and supper, seven doors down

In another fine old house, a yellow one, is our bistro, Le Moque-Tortue: lobster ten ways, oysters, mussels steamed in local IPA, fresh pasta, house-made desserts, La Jabberwock, our own pilsner, and more than 2,300 board games. Open all year.

And smoke, next door

Next to Adorable, at 395-B Main Street, Morse et Marteaux’s Smith & Main canteen serves barbecue smoked low and slow over maple (the brisket, at least sixteen hours) and ice cream.
